Some get mad if you take a small antler buck, i primarily hunt for meat so a nice spike or fat doe works for me!

Thanks. My son has been my partner for the last nine years. This year has been a real struggle for him to find time, with school (done at 4:30 everyday), work and his girlfriend. I know what you mean about having a partner and one sorta pushes the other.

Thanks you. Ya, I thought he was a bit older as well. Looked at his teeth, not much wear. I'm guessing 2-1/2 maybe 3-1/2 years old. Looking at his head/nose and the rest of his body structure I'm leaning towards 3-1/2 years old.

Thank you. I like to write down the details, ends up in my hunting log.

Right y’all after a lot of vertical movement in my rest paper turning is done. No arrow clearance issues. What do y’all think. This was 6 shots in a row with no changes

Looks ok to me. One on the left looks like a high tear but that could be grip or release. Do you have a bare shaft you can shoot? To me, it is always easier to tell with bare shaft. Have you tried any regular 20 yard shooting? Still getting erratic flight?

Haven’t got a bare shaft. I also haven’t shot past 10 yards. But the arrow flight looks perfect to me. I moved my rest up almost 2 notch’s parallel is perfect. I also check the level of the bow and rest at full draw and that seems to be perfect as well. I may go take a shot in the back yard and see how it looks.

You may already know this but I'll throw it out there to help in case you don't.

If you are ever questioning where you should have the rest vertically, there is a Berger hole on every riser which will show you exactly where to line up the arrow horizontally. I have struggled with all the things you are mentioning. It's a never-ending battle my friend. Just stay after it.

I think I have it perfect. My papers tears are great. The string isn’t slapping it comes perfect to my nose. I threw a level on for shits and giggle and it looks good. I just shot 20yards at a lighted knock all 4 arrows are touching 2” high. With perfect flight. I’ll probably sleep in tomorrow take it to the shop see what the FPS is and have them look over it. Shot it on paper for them. And align the sights out to 60. I do need to tinker with the rear stabilizer some

nice, post a pic of the rear teeth/jaw and I can tell you how old it is...

Sometimes they act like they know what they are talking about...then as you shoot more you find out they didnt know crap. Ive had some similar crappy bow places set me up wrong. I used to go to this small mom and pop type shop and this one guy talked a good game...until I started shooting and I was all kinds of messed up. Took it to another professional LADY archer and she was awesome! she got me set up great! Later I went in to the mom and pop place and the guy that talked a good game had a bowstring slap on his face from dryfiring a bow...that sealed the deal for me he was an idiot. Not saying that stuff cant happen BUT he dry fired it not a bow string break problem--till he dry fired it...
