    Hi all.

New taco owner checking in for full access (download links etc) to all the great info I have found thus far in these user forums!

Many thanks to all of you and the site admins/owners for this resource!

So far, I have learned not to worry about the "evaporative emissions" hum I noticed today while poking around my taco. (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/puzzled-humming-noise-under-bed.276658/)

I am keen on adding a two way vhf/uhf (ham) transceiver and performing the all-important associated antenna install. The hood hinge mount is looking like the great choice for now. I have been pretty attached to roof mount NMO on all my sedans, but don't relish the idea of dropping headliner right away, nor forgetting to remember the antenna is up there when going into low clearance situations :p

Also found the thread about making sure to check the automatic transmission fluid! Argggh!

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...be-low-on-fluid-directly-from-factory.405642/

So far, I am still in the triple digit odometer club, but I want to start off on the right note and do everything I can to educate myself about this new vehicle! Heaven knows, I would rather go back to the stealership in a position of superior knowledge whenever possible!

    Thanks!

    Joe

Welcome to the forum from Eastern North Carolina.:thumbsup:

I installed my Victory 4x4 VT3CB-BARE antenna mount today. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and highly recommend it.

I like that it looks almost OEM. Makes a 1/4 wave 2 meter antenna into a "stealth" antenna.
