so I got frame recall on my 2009 extended cab 4x4 done few months back .also picked up some 3rd gen factory trd take off suspension for the 1+lift also seller included uca's (dealer installed now charge ,well they tried to charge LoL )
Trucks ride fresh and leveled nice from the 3rd gen front suspension.other than possible leaking exhaust manifolds truck going good.sound like sewing machine tho
Now I'm looking for rust proofing .thinking of doing it my self with fluid fill .any thoughts ?crown is charging 149.99cad plus tax .
Body had crown done once back in 2010 from original owner .best to pay crown or just it my self ?

I did mine with FF after Toyota replaced the frame. Looks great after one winter. I bought the better of the two FF guns since I wanted to do a few more cars/trucks. It will eventually wash off where there is a lot of splash (wheel wells) but inside the frame looks like it was done yesterday. 149C sounds like a great deal. If you do it yourself you may do a better job by taking more care. And you may need some new frame plugs. Almost impossible to remove them without breaking them. I needed four of the No. 4 plugs.

I recommend krown. Their ability to do the insides of all the body panels is great. I'll be doing my 5th treatment in a few weeks.
