Just installed a set of Wrangler Ultra Terrain 265/70R16s on my 2013 Gen 2 Taco. Replaced a set of Firestone Destination AT's with 60K on them with life still left on the tread (Wranglers were a Bday present) Having driven a Toyota Truck of one sort or another for over 35yrs I have tried quite a few tires. Wranglers have performed very well over the years on my 22R, HiLux (Japan) and Gen 1 however comma, the Destination ATs reign supreme. Back to the UTs. In comparison they are loud on pavement, gather rocks and spit them on gravel and ride rough on concrete. I also lost 2mpg (down to 19mpg) That said they are awesome on any loose ground, sand, mud or snow. If that's where you spend most of your time, by all means go for the Wrangler UTs. If you spend hours on the Super Slab, you might consider something else. I would repeat the FS Destinations in a heartbeat.
