    My only adventure this past weekend was taking my kayak out to test. I built a little mount to run a 30lb thrust trolling motor. I know, I know...it's not the point of a kayak. Buuuuut, the mount is easily removable, so I can take it off if I'm not fishing or hunting. On the highest setting, it runs ~4mph. Plenty quick for what I need. Now it just needs some paint and camo netting.

    You better believe it can kick out some sweet donuts too. :devil: Better make sure you're balanced properly before you do that though. Lol!

    A thing or two...
    I got all of my stuff moved over to the new house this weekend. I need to go by the rental one day after work to clean it and then turn in the keys. I also need to start organizing the new house and putting everything where it will live. Right now everything is just piled in the living room.

    Speaking of the cold snap, I should probably figure out how many exterior faucets I have that will need covering.

    They open numerous trails out there for deer season that are typically closed and gated, so you should have fun. I don't know specifically which ones unfortunately, but its hard to go wrong.

    Not a bad day just driving around! Hit some fun roads and saw some nice views. I tried Ritter road from the north but turned around at the water crossing. Was a little deeper than I wanted it to be. Also a little gun shy with water crossings since I hydro locked my other engine! But it was a good one day off.

    Next time, take the shortish hike up Flatside. The views, esp on a clear day are awesome. You can see Forked Mtn 15 miles West which is where we camp at Cedar Creek lake.
