    Hello, I just purchased a 2003 Tacoma TRD Xtracab 4WD V6 automatic (wanted a manual but this will be fine). It has 245k miles and I'm replacing the timing belt next week before I drive it too much. The previous owner had no problems but I am cautious, especially at this high mileage. I will be using it mostly for my side landscaping business, as well as a bit of fun and getting to work when it snows, which is not very often but my new job will not let me work from home. I've been looking at small trucks for a while now and when this one became available through word-of-mouth, I jumped.

    Thanks y'all. It's my first truck and my first Toyota. I'm a VW Golf/GTI gal most of the time, but I'm looking forward to trucklife. Keeping the VW, though.

    I hope I didn't make a mistake by buying this truck. I took it in for a known issue - timing belt and 02 sensor - and ending up with those plus valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and sp wires and water pump...$1900 later I'll have a fab truck...right? Right. Oh please tell me right!
