I have a base model 2006 Tacoma access cab and I just had my brake rotors and pads replaced. I was driving down the highway and the front end was shaking really bad at 70 mph after I'd been driving a bit. I took it to my shop and he called and said he suspects it's the brake calipers that are locked up. If they have to replace them are we talking about a LOT of money? This truck has 114,000 miles on it and I've had to do SO much work to it. I'm beginning to suspect the odometer was rolled over. Frustrating. Thanks for any advice you can give.

    Loose lug nuts?
If the calipers are locked up, the wheel will get hot. Should be able to feel the drag also.
Find a new shop that knows how to change brakes.

Yeah, from my experience, pay more to go to a really good shop and get it done right first!! Thanks for the tips.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
you really need to use a LOCAL repair shop, not a chain outfit. The local guy cares about you.
