Bed length? This shouldn't be this difficult.. 2015 AccessCab

Hi.. so brand new member here. Thanks for having me.

I'm trying to purchase a bed cover online -- still undecided on tonneau or solid or tri-fold. Definitely need something fairly secure, possibly locking. The hitch I'm coming across is that my bed measures 74"on the inside or 77" outside. There's a bed liner and bed rails which of course impact the actual measurement of the bed.

And of course none of the covers I'm finding are meant to fit 74/77" beds.

Clearly clueless here, and I'm not measuring correctly nor do I know how much to compensate for the thickness of the liner.. Can anyone advise me on the actual measurement I should use for my truck. It's a 2015 Tacoma base model, access cab (suicide doors, door handles inside only), 4 cylinder, 4WD.
