So I stupidly swapped the coolant and air hoses during a 5vzfe tb reassembly. I cranked and cranked, flooding the engine with fuel, fouling the plugs, and pushing coolant into the intake.

Found my mistake, cleaned everything up, changed plugs, did anoil change, and it’s running just fine again. A lot of white smoke out the exhaust for like 10 miles.

Just wanted to thank you guys for posting all the info to help me troubleshoot and fix my error.

By the way, it seems to run better with NGK plugs and Royal Purple synthetic over Denso plugs and Castro.

Anyway, that was my day. Thanks Tacomaworld!
