2019 Super White Tacoma TRD Off Road
Hey everybody. My name is Adam. I’m the proud new owner of a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Funny thing is I wasn’t even looking for a Tacoma. I had a 2007 BMW 335i. My daily drives back and forth from Fredericksburg, VA to Washington, D.C. put a ton of miles on the car. Now as you may or may not know, BMW’s do not do well with high mileage. So with 185,000 miles on the odometer, it finally died on me for the last time. I was tired of dumping money into that thing. I decided it was time for a truck, so I spent this past Friday at multiple Chevy dealerships trying to negotiate a deal on a Colorado ZR2. I used to own a Wrangler in a mother life, and I missed the off-road fun. Anyways, that mission was a failure. I should also note that I had a very strict budget. Feeling defeated, and needing are vehicle by weekends end, I headed to a Jeep dealer to looking to get a new Cherokee Trailhawk. Well as I’m there walking the lot, I see beautiful white Tacoma TRD Off Road. I got closer and read the sticker. It’s a 2019 with 2200 miles! It already had a slight lift with 31” Nitto Trail Grapplers. Looked sick. I ask the sales man what they were asking for it. Asking price was $2k over my Out The Door budget. So I took a shot and made an offer. SOLD! I’m sure I left money on the table seeing how quickly they took the offer. But all in all I couldn’t be happier. Now time to make it my own. My wife says the first mod has to be running boards. She’s 4’11, so getting in and out is a challenge for her. So my first mod will be rock sliders that can double as steps. Anyways, glad to be a part of Tacomaworld. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!
