And trying to train these black thingamagigs to form in some kinda workable manner with the colder temps. Would've been much easier here when we was in the 90s and 100s a month ago. Just wasn't able at that time.

Thought maybe this way i could get some feedback from someone with experience on the subject since I've looked high and low for some knowledge on this. Seems nobody offers any real solutions to my problem

Feedback is hard to give when we don't know what the problem is.

So here it is. Only gonna be out a Benjamin if it doesn't work. They are 2.5" flexy flares with the stiff ass support wire. They come shipped rolled really tight and have built in curvature.Wire is in seperate roll, really stiff ass wire. Just cut and layed against fender and they are so thick and stiff it's impossible to mount them. Figured I'd try to make them straighten out with a heat gun while they are bound to the straight studs before attempting to install. Would appreciate any feed back. Didn't wanna go with garden border. These mount different and look way better. White taco with 2 to 3 inches of mt's poking out is killing paint. Regular bolt ons don't offer much more protection than stock flares. Deer lease roads in my area are a killer

My old 82 toyota sr5 was not a problem with this style flare as the fenders were more rounded and straight. The 2nd gen tacoma fenders are a whole different animal

Still gonna look like you attached garden border to your truck, maybe paint some flowers on them once they’re on.

If these will get me through the winter I'll be happy. Got a buddy that dabbles in fiberglass and even carbon fiber but he needs more time than i can give him right now. Maybe next year I'll get him to build me some real flares that look great and paint match as i cant seem to find anything other than complete fiberglass flimsy fenders that I'm no fan of.
