If MaryAnn doesn't go, I could be swayed as well in order to photograph the trestle at night with some light painting.

If you don't end up getting one prior to the trip, I have a couple of extras so you can borrow one if you need. Just remind me at the trail head.

We expect to arrive at the abandoned trestle around 1:30-2:00pm. Spend as much time there as you want, but most folks will be heading out 4:30-5:00pm "ish" to try and get onto pavement before it starts getting too dark. It should take use about 30-45 minutes to get from the trestle to pavement. I'll add you to the committed list.

Bear in mind that the time change will happen prior to this trip so it will get dark around 5:00-5:30.

Thanks, just ordered a handheld. Now to get a license...

    I ordered this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202429357103

A few bucks cheaper than Amazon and arrives by 11/4.

Count me in! Do you guys think a slightly lifted Forester could make it? A buddy of mine is interested in tagging along.

We would be camping as well.

I'm not sure about the Forester. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

Good to know. We can always change at Patton Museum before heading to the trail head. And we're definitely going on the 9th.

Confirming I’m still in for Saturday, but I unfortunately won’t be able to camp overnight. Looking forward to hitting this trail.
