    Yeah, I could tell the difference immediately when I saw the new one. There's a visible casting defect along the seam of the main snorkel tube. I'd show a picture, but it doesn't show up well enough in photos.

    Thanks! Yeah, I'm real happy with it. He sent me an entire full kit to replace it, but the snorkel body fixed the issue.

    Btw, I was trying to swap my red dot from my camo ar15 back to the pistol, and I couldn't get it loose. I broke 4 t10 torx bits. Long story short, the gunsmith broke 4 of his bits, too, and it's staying overnight lol.

    I had to have cranked on it like crazy. I don't think I used loctite. The gunsmith said it's mechanically welded. :bananadead:
