    on thispost it compares them. It stuck out a half an inch using the old template. With some adjustments to the stud holes, it got closer.

    The first pic is from about 6" away. The second is from several feet, so the gap difference isn't severe, just the angle doesn't completely match the angle of the a-pillar.

    Here's a picture from the front with the old snorkel:

    The replacement was to fix the pillar-to-snorkel gap.

    I have the bad one one my truck. It has more of a gap than I’d like, but most people won’t notice it unless I’m parked next to a good one.

    I also made a new A-pillar bracket, so it’s sturdy.

    It didn't bother me until I installed one on a 3rd Gen. Then I couldn't not see it lol. Would be good for a budget trail rig, though.

    Yeah, once you look at a good fitting one, it'll drive you crazy. They apparently updated the templates and fixed manufacture QC
