Shock not centered in coilovers?

    Hello, installed bilstein 5100 shocks with stock sr5 coils and new kyb top hats and bushings set at bottom notch(no lift) exactly one week ago. This evening I noticed that both shocks are off center in relation to the coil. Difference of about 1/4”. I’m not worried about it, truck rides great. No clunks/rubbing. Just curious if this is normal/anyone else notice this on there truck? Thanks

    also realize this thread might be worthless without pics. Will post some tomorrow.

    I don't see that little bit being an issue. As long as the shock is not rubbing on the spring, you should have no problems.

    With that said, is it possible the shaft plastic guard is what is actually off center?
