So i have a set of steel factory wheels with tires mounted from my 2nd gen I traded awhile back.

I was considering putting them on my 3rd gen this winter. Is there any reason why I cant?

Downside is they’re heavier, so more rotational weight. It’ll hurt mpg a little, but if you just run them in the winter it’ll make your other wheels last much longer.

    2G Steelies - Winter 2019

The 2G alloys were the winter wheels leftover from my 2013. After running them for two winters, I ran the stock 3G TRD Off-Road wheels for a winter and then decided I didn't want to muck them up. So I bought a set of cheap 2G steel wheels.

I've now had 4 sets of wheels on my truck, and have had two other sets that haven't been on the truck yet, including next year's winter wheel setup (I have...issues).

These are all the wheels I've had, minus my gunmetal beadlocks, which I run during the non-winter months

I bought those TRD alloys for like $130 and flipped them for $400. I was pleased.
