Thanks! And that is definitely the goal. We'll want it to be as simple and straightforward as our other Always-On Modules.

Just to follow up on that - Our engineers are looking at it now. This is a little more intensive than some other modules we've developed in terms of wiring, but we're definitely focused on keeping it plug and play. The original mod requires running a whole extra relay, and that's what we're also trying to avoid if possible.

The hardest part(IMO) is going to be keeping the factory dash icon functional. Wiring fogs on all the time is easy... but tricking the ECU into illuminating the fog icon is another story. Hope you guys can do it:)

    Nothing official just yet!

Our engineering team is still in the research phase, so I'm keeping my ear to the ground for status updates!

Any progress on this, or is it looking like it’s not going to happen?

I wish I had a more concrete update for you! Our engineering team is working hard to get nearly a dozen new products ready for the street, but I'm staying in close contact with them for an ETA on this.

    I'll keep everyone posted!

This isnt the same thing though... at least not for me... i want my fog lights on all of time.. meaning i want them on without turning on my running lights or headlights... i want them to be an additional DRL i guess

I highly doubt this is at the top of their priority list. We now know what their engineere were working on so hard this year. They recently released Tacoma fog lights in white and amber. A direct competition to Baja Designs, Rigid and such brands. Plug and play led fog lights exactly like the bajas. Diode is smart. They are gonna give everyone a run for their money.
