I feel like the majority of 3rd gen forum members are either a) 25 year olds going into debt buying long travel to take instagram pictures of their overland life or b) old retired guys who are new to the internet and cars in general.

Hey! Just picked up my 2016 tacoma. What's the biggest tires I can fit without a lift? How come this truck is so slow? I had a 2012 subaru wrx with an exhaust and it was way faster than this! What's the best rooftop tent I can get? Make sure to follow me on instagram and hit that subscribe and like button on my new youtube channel!

Holy shit lol they fucked up hard hahaha. But yeah i mean i've done a fair amount of off roading in my old 4runner, up old logging roads in the rockies and even some here in bham, but my concern is that I've never driven a truck off road, so I know its gunna be a lot different, and the main truck experience i have is with big old fords for work stuff mostly on highways.

Come on a trail run with me sometime. You'll learn what not to do, plus what you should keep on hand for spare parts in case a trail fix is needed.

My boss always told me to lead by example. In my case I lead by bad example. I take one for the team every time.

that and I can’t find the pic of swapping out ur uca on an uphill turn going to I think it was van Epps? Who was carrying the spare? Jared?
All in all u would be a good coach for a newbie. just make sure to call Dakota when u get stuck in the mud on an erstwhile flat farm field!:D
I remember the mud on ur headliner from that one!
Seriously if I was a newbie and needed a coach it would be you, Jim, or Brian. jim did van Epps only using rear lock no 4 wd. Impressive.

Seriously. We had hit it with everything and one good whack with your hammer and pop goes the weezel. Or ball joint in this case. Or could also be seen as one good whack and, Bob's your uncle.

I take a hammer on every trip since that day. I just finally stopped taking an extra set of UCA's.

Anything close to bham is logging roads which don't require a lot of skill or experience. Check out canyon Creek road and coal Creek road
