I'll trade you. Even if it made the back of the access cab just a platform with zero leg room, it would be an improvement and save me from building and upholstering a platform for my dog. And my AC seats aren't even comfortable/useable for my 5 year old niece (stationary vehicle).

Where you at? I have a platform for an AC that I built and upholstered for my dogs. If you’re around San Antonio, you’re free to grab it

My teenage daughters ride back there. I'm 6ft and a flabby 235lb. They are around 5ft 9in and all muscle?

I don't get the fit problems that people talk about. I fit back there and tried the back of a DC once. The difference is pretty minimal. It certainly is a whole lot better than the sideways seats in older extended cabs.

I had a friend's toddler back there in a full size car seat and other kids in boosters. My biggest complaint was when one of them was fucking with the road atlas in the seat back pocket. o_O

I'm in Colorado, but thanks! I'll be building one myself soon.

You might be better time and money spent just looking for lower profile boosters and seat back covers. I have a 5 year old on a full booster and a tall 7 year old in a backless booster and they fit fine. Sometimes my 12 yo niece even rides between them just running around town.

    How old are your kids?

My step son is 6’2” at 16. He looks like Andre the Giant in a VW bug in the back seat.

We have nice boosters for the little ones. I really don’t have footing to complain on about them, and I have front seat rear covers already.

    Working on it!
I really love this idea. Nobody ever rides in my back seat; and my dog hated getting in and out. Having the huge factory seats really takes up a bunch of room for little use; seems like jump seats would provide more overall utility by being out of the way for most of the time, but there if needed. Heck, i've been thinking about putting just one jumpseat in and either leaving half the standard seats on the passenger side or removing them altogether.
