You ever get the lift? Wondering how it's doing. Just paid for some 6112s and 5160s myself and not sure if I should go with 265/70/17 or 285/70/17.

I'm going to watch this thread. I decided on going with 265/75/16 on the ray 10 as well. My wife is a short and I need to keep it as low as I can,,(within reason, lol)

Just got 285 70 17 today on my 6112/5160 combo and what a difference compared to 265. Wish I would have gone 33s from the go

I'm on 6112/5160s and I'm doing 255/85/16s tomorrow... Finally getting off of the OEM Wranglers. Staying on the OEM OR wheels for now as well.

Smart choice if you don’t want to CMC, Pinch weld and trim.

I chose 295/70r17 and had to do some work to get it to fit. I’m still rubbing on the front of the wheel well and need to trim that soon.

285-27-70 Tires with just the lame 3 and 1 blocks... GFC on the back
Did you need to do anything else in order to run the 285-70-17's aside from the 6112 5160 set up?

Doing the same set up in a couple weeks. Doing the suspension with 275/60/17 with Ray 10s. Best option when trying to avoid CMC.

nothing else other that getting spc uca and having a shop align with I believe the caster forward. I don’t have a cmc and it does not rub even with hard wheeling. My wheels at 17x8.5 0 offset

I eventually got the 6112/5160 on my 2017 but had to sell last year and last June ended up getting another taco but this time went with Eibach pro truck kit and now running 285/75/16 stealths f5s and kept camburg uppers
