I used to be in great shape when I was in HS playing hockey and football. Then I got hurt and decided I like food more than weights and working out.

I mean I’m still in shape. Round is a shape right?

 

That’s pretty damn funny.

 

Yep.... I porked out a little over the last year been back in the gym with a vengeance couple of months.

 

I was somewhere else on the forum and heard someone say Irish Coffee?!!!!!

I need to lose a bunch and get back into decent shape. As I get older it’s just going to get harder and harder to do. I’d like to drop about 75lbs and tone up again. Keep trying to get my friend to work out with me (I hate working out alone I don’t enjoy my company lol).

I have to watch what I’m doing weight wise I’ve got a bad shoulder so I have to take it slow to build the muscles around it again. Avoiding the knife as long as I possibly can.

When I took my wife to the drag queen bingo last weekend for her bday I had Irish coffee. Warmed right up.

Sadly I didn’t. Was honestly pretty damn funny though. I laughed a lot more than I thought I would.

Good luck I put on about 40 and have lost 25 already. I can tell I can’t go as hard as I used to as well.
It’s just being consistent with and tightening up the diet cutting back on beer was the hardest for me.
When you start I can be sort of a “manager” to hold you accountable to it. Check in with you on scheduled workout days and if you skip it I will say mean things to you so you’ll feel bad and do something active...I do this for a couple of people it’s a great support system and one have person that does the same for me.
