Just out of curiosity where does the needle lay on your temp gauge?
Mine is right down the middle, but most cars I've had in the past it has been just to the left of dead center

I would say you are good to go where it is.

    I think it's a buffered gauge.

Haha that is so funny man, I just happened to notice that last week in my truck after a little aggressive driving on the way home down a stretch and was like "Wait is my gauge always in the middle or am I on the verge of over heating..?" Glad to know it's normal!

Yeah it's not that accurate. The actual temp changes a lot and the needle stays the same.

Yeah I was warming my truck up this morning, and I could feel the air getting warmer, but the needle was still reading cold. It did not start moving until I started driving

I've driven lots of vehicles and they are almost always in the middle at operating temperature.

Modified the level of gas in the tank
Electric heat if you dial up to Hi, until coolant warms up

    Edit: not Lo...Hi
