Syncronize multiple TPMS sensors on 2020 Tacoma?

    Just purchased a 2020 Pro.

I am purchasing a 2nd set of wheels and tires for winter use only. I am contemplating purchasing with that 2nd set of wheels and tires the TPMS sensors.

Toyota dealer tells me that "some" Toyota's allow for more than (4) TPMS sensors (the original four would be in my stock wheels & tires used for summer use) to be programmed to a single car and some do not.

Has anyone tried this on a 2020 model? There is no sense in spending $300 on a second set of TPMS sensors if they cannot be read. Reprogramming the computer each time to recognize a new set of sensors is not something that is practical.

Not sure if the 2020's are different and can have extra TPMS sensors, but others have used the ATEQ QuickSet tool to swap summer/winter tires.

3rd gens and mostly all toyota's today only remember 4 sensors. some of the older models would have 5 sensors but that was for the spare (my old 2004 4runner had a sensor in the spare) and would show low psi on the spare at times (you would have to drop it and fill it to get the warning to go away on the dash). the only way you can have 2 sets on a vehicle is IF you have a tool that can rewrite the sensor id to the oem sensor id's. otherwise you have to relearn the sensor id's every swap from winter to summer setup.

I’m pretty sure Schrader makes a set of clone sensors that duplicates the id of your current ones.
