Our 16 Off road doesn’t run TPMS sensors. Might be a Canadian thing...

just put the winters on the other day.

I run TPMS in my wheels. For programming, I use the Autel MaxiTPMS TS508. I bought the full kit that comes with the tool and 8 sensors from Advanced Auto with a 25% off coupon. Well worth it because it works on my truck and wife's car as well as any other vehicle I may encounter.

That’s crazy. They’ve been mandatory in the US since 2007. That’s why tire shops can’t install without them on a vehicle newer than that.

2017 Tacoma. TPMS shows on the option list, but not equipped. My wife's 2011 Impreza is the same. Fine by me. I know how to check air pressure.

Google confirmed. They are not required by law in Canada. Although the majority of vehicles do have them.

I’m surprised Toyota doesn’t just include them. They’re sure proud of their Toyota Safety Sense. You would think they would just do it so they could claim they were looking out.
Not gonna lie, I’m pretty jealous you Northerners don’t have to deal with it.

M/T and SR5 canadian models don't have TPMS. All Auto TRD and up have it.

No rav4 has had TPMS in canada except the run-flat model.
