we normally see some don't always get one. killed a 10 last year. im most jack about the buck I let go in wv last year. should be close to a 120'' buck this year if I can find him

alright for y'all u extreme archerys. I have 2 arrow one brand new 350 spine. I have 1 old several hundred shot thru a wisker biscuit also 350 spine. the new one shoots perfect bullet hole. the other has a bad left knock tear. why is this. I tested this several time thru my boredom.

 

Cause it’s not 350 spine anymore. AND ITS OLD.... LOL

 

Chasing today ! Saw 3 doe and a Button buck at first light and another joined in but was in a hurry and they all took off ! Then 4 doe were running out in front of me about 50 yards out with a 4 point 10 minutes behind . He came in to my grunt call . Then half hour later 3 deer hauling ass with the loudest grunting I ever heard . They were a blur .Sat from 6am until noon. Juiced up 2 mock scrapes on the way out . Back at it in the morning !

I got pictures of smaller bucks chasing does around the corn pile. My wife smelled the big 8 point that came 10 feet from the blind last Saturday. Haven't seen any big bucks chasing yet but it was 80 for the high here yesterday and it's going to be 33 for the low tonight and 59 for the high tomorrow. I'm jacked up about tomorrow morning with the smoke pole for the opener!

Good morning here. Saw 5 bucks, 2 were mature and pretty decent looking and 1 doe. Going to hunt on one of my leases this afternoon.

 

Anyone here hunt with a recurve?
I’m thinking about buying one to hunt with the season.

Leave for my rutcation in 5 days and I’m already mostly packed.

I think about it every year. But unless I really devote my self to practicing every day, I'm just not proficient enough.

This was from over the summer. 15 yards and I really have to work to achieve this. Kudos and nothing but admiration for those that carry a stick.

 

Gonna try and head out in the morning since exam week is over thank God. Gonna be nice and cool around 28 degrees so hopefully the deer are at least up and moving some.

I saw two. A six and an 8. It's pretty cold in Michigan right now. Makes it hard to be ready to shoot. Dropped one of my gloves when I was in my stand. Huge mistake. Bow was ice cold when I was getting ready to shoot.
