What does this number mean?

    This number, located under front hood, just forward of the radiator. 2000 Tacoma PreRunner ExtraCab. What does it mean?

    Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
    its just a number they use to identify the truck when their built. no meaning besides that from my understanding
    when a core support is replaced there is no number on the new part from toyota. so seeing that number there typically means that has never been replaced.

    some Toyotas will put a serial number on body panels that corresponds with the truck. It's a way of easily identifying if a vehicle has had a panel or part replaced as part of a repair. You might find that same number on other panels.

    or it could be totally unrelated. I've never looked for it, so I have no idea what that serial number looks like.

    lol from what i was informed this piece of paper was from the paint shop. It wasnt suppose to be left in the truck, but 14 years after she was built i found it when i pulled the headliner down, stuffed up in the roof stiffener panel
