    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
    Good list of stuff. What is recommended for clamping off torn brake lines, mini vice grips?

    I’ve used vice grips, but someone told me they actually make special pliers for this. I meant to look into it.

    For sure vice grips work. You can clamp at the hose, or crush a line of you absolutely have to. Just make sure they are the vice grips with the flat jaws, not curved.
