Been another busy morning of scrubbing with the etcher/cleaner. I cannot believe how much more shit came out of this concrete. I might be able to prime it tonight and paint first thing in the morning. Threw in a gratuitous pic of the Truck behind the Z.

I’m starting to think maybe a house humidifier would be a good idea. Woke up to a stuffy nose, grabbed some tissue and blew my nose which turned into a colossal torrent of blood that lasted a good 10 minutes and came back for round two after breakfast.

I’m on low dose aspirin so that’s part of the problem but the single digit humidity probably won’t help either.

This might sound weird but when its this dry, before bed I put chapstick on my lips and inside my nose as far as I can reach with my finger. Makes for a much more pleasant sleeping and waking experience.

Oil change and bi-annual paint protection that was 'included' at purchase.
At least it was much less than they wanted.
They jacked up my clear bra so it has to go back again.

Got the primer and first coat down. About to go do the 2nd and the chips soon! All this took less than a gallon of paint.

Man this was worth every second of prep. Might have overdone the chips a bit but oh well. Clear coat will go on tomorrow. Once I can park on it the Z will go in the corner and I will get the 3rd bay done.

    Looking good!

Also, life hack: when you decide to install your garage lights yourself and you need a ladder to put the junction boxes in, use your truck bed instead and you have an easy to use work platform!

    tacoma garage.jpg

Good times, feel really good about getting this sorted out myself for about $30 at ACE. I am gonna change the current light fixture into a switched outlet and buy some of those lights Jeremy has as fill lights.

I used my truck for the same thing but to get stuff put away on the shelves.
