Hate me if you want :D

I’ve never had a season like this. I’ve killed some nice deer through the years, never 2 nice deer in one season though.

I’ve been hunting a total of 2 afternoons and one morning this season. Shot twice. Once with the bow and once with the muzzle loader. I’ve never gone 2 for 2. Mostly 50/50 or less.

This morning was the first time this buckwheat has been hunted. All the hard work I’ve put in paid off this year. Now if my wife can get her 2 good bucks I’ll be tickled. We get 2 buck tags each.

We don’t always kill big bucks but it’s the joy of being in the outdoors and enjoying what God has blessed us with. If we get a good one it’s just a great add to be able to hunt.

Here's to an awesome 2019 season

No hate from me, congrats on an excellent season so far. I love to see folks harvest nice deer, I can totally get the feeling!

There's more to the hunt, than just the kill, and only a hunter would understand!

2 dogs ruined my hunting this evening...
Stayed around hunting rabbits until dark, they only got to 45 yards at one time, next weekend is gun season, if they make an appearance then it's too bad,
they're actually my F-I-L dogs but he told me last year to shoot them if they show up, I may take him up on that offer next time,
They were on my lease that I pay for from a non family member, my in laws just happen to live close by.

This is a buck that was a regular on camera a few years ago, he's dead now, but not by me,
I've never seen a neck that swollen.
