It's been a while since I've visited here.
Anyway, our trip to San Diego was really nice. It was great to see our nephew and his wife. Love that kid and I'm very proud of him.
He put himself through college at the University of Scranton and acquired his doctoral at Virginia Commonwealth University. He's an chemical scientist.
He was offered a position at University of California at San Diego maybe 4 years ago and he accepted it.
He did research and some teaching.
He was headhunted by a company, don't know the name but he accepted it and he's doing well for himself.
Anyway, we stayed at a holiday inn not far from them.
They took us all over. It was nice to see the tourist attractions. The place I enjoyed the most was a little town called Julian. There's a small pie company there...my lord, I have never had such a delicious piece of apple pie!!!
Also, one day my wife and I stopped in at a Ferrari dealership...wow.
A salesmen asked if we were interested in anything...I just kind of chuckled and said we were just looking..lol.
Sorry this is so long, but I could go on forever about this trip...in the end we had a really great time.

Good morning all! Cleaned out a bathroom sink drain and cleaned the same bathroom this morning. A little rest and then on to hang a shelf in the laundry room. Kind of a dreary wet day so inside work it will be today.

Good morning, nippy morn again, 17 here. Supposed to warm up on Friday, that's good as supposed to go hunting and camp out a couple nights with another stove collector who is coming up to hunt.

I then use the leaf picker-upper and then pile that for my compost bin. I add the chopped leaves as I add the kitchen scraps.
