Hello everyone! Hoping I can get a little insight here. It’s time for tires again. Stock size is 265/65/17. I currently have the grabber at2’s. Unfortunately they are being discontinued and I want the atx’s Which is the new model. They don’t come I. My size so I was hoping to put on 265/70/17. I’m just afraid of rubbing because I hunt and like to off road, both having areas that I bounce around quite a bit. Had anyone here switched to that size with no issues? Thank you in advance. Note I have stock suspension

Very little difference, tire size calculator shows 1.05" difference in dia., that's 0.52" closer to the front & 0.52 " closer to the rear of the wheel openings. Can't say for sure, but 0.52 ain't much.

I was looking at the exact same size when l replace my present tires. Everything that I've read says they'll fit no problem.

Yea I have read a lot saying that’s fine but no bigger but I have read a few that said they rubbed very slightly. I just hope the off road don’t make it.

Such a small increase you should be ok I would think. I also ran into the issue of them discontinuing the grabber at2s... I think theyre a great tire been running them on my other vehicle... not sure if I'll try the ATX's or not... was able to grab a set of 5 AT2s right after they got discontinued so I have a while to think it over.

Yea tire rack still had the tires so I could get them but don’t wanna run into trouble with them. The at2’s I have on now have been on there for 73000 miles. Really didn’t want to switch.

Just did this with my 07. I went from 265/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers to 265/70/17 Falken wildpeaks. I have 3rd gen trd off-road suspension with recalled springs replaced. I still had front mud flap rubbing and took them off. I'm hoping that was where the rubbing came from as I haven't heard the rubbing since, but haven't driven it much yet though.

I run 265/75/R16. Tons of off roading and fun. I haven’t experienced any rubbing. From my understanding, this is the biggest I can go in my stock vehicle.

Guess it depends on the tire. I'm running 265/70s Duelers with zero rubbing and stock mudguards.
