Yury was my biggest point of interest of the night. Obviously, him finishing on the podium at 205kg is amazing. What a freak.

What really intrigued me was how he got to the podium on three openers. WTF? Is that a first? Was that by design? He was obviously very confident in those lifts because he forfeited a second squat and bailed on the third. Forfeited his second pull because he didn’t like how his setup felt and it didn’t seem like he really put much into his third.

Brandon is one of my favorites to follow. Hope he makes it back from his injuries.

Is wax no longer an acceptable means to keep vehicles looking good?

Waxes are for color effects on show cars but really serve no effective purpose for protecting a vehicles finish.

Sealants and coatings are the way of the 21st century.
In the CA heat for an nongaraged truck you will be lucky to get two weeks worth of protection from a wax.

Its very interesting the difference in the fasted LISS cardio vs. the fed total lifting session reading of 0.4mmol/l

After consultation with my neurosurgeon it is agreed I am fat adapted. I will celebrate with a beer and move onto adapting a CKD.

I hope you brahs use the extra hour today wisely. And by wisely I mean gainsworthy

I use the term wax very broadly lol. Either way, don’t really care. Hadn’t given the truck a good cleaning in 6+ months. It needed a good buffing.

I have been severely neglecting my truck. I left it unprotected without a sealer this year and left bug guts caked on the front end for months.
So guess who has etched paint now?

I haven’t washed my truck since May. Haven’t clayed in 2 years (oh how much fun that will be when I do it).
Next spring I will need to douse the truck in IronX and do a full polish.

I almost feel like I should be put in prison for how bad my truck has gotten.

When I’m livin it up and get my Ford I will shell out the $3k for the ceramic. I think now I think its worth it.

Ya. I hadn’t clayed in a year at least. Hadn’t “waxed” in just as long. I had a free day yesterday and thought it was time. Curious as to what sealant you would recommend? I don’t remember what I have but I don’t think it was a sealant lol. Maybe I’ll go get some and finish her off today

I might order some of this: https://www.chemicalguys.com/hydroslick-intense-gloss-sio2-ceramic-coating-hyperwax/WAC22916.html

I’m a big fab of CG products. Most of my arsenal is their stuff. Adams Polishes are great too.
I use CG Jet Seal and like it a lot. I bought quite a bit of it so I havent been trying other kinds until this is gone.
Jet Seal will last 6 months easy if cared for. I think even longer. But you have to use pH balanced products to clean the truck to maintain it. I love the glass effect of it.

I have not been disapointed with any CG product.

I’m not a fan of the ceramic spray crap yet because quality ceramics are professional level products. I’m just not sure a AIO product will give you any better protection than a sealant. But thats just my inexperienced opinion.

If you try it report back to me how you like it.

About halfway. I drink a tonnnn of water so pee stops are frequent and I’m not really in a hurry. Just stopped at a BBQ joint to get some grilled chicken instead of gas station grapes/protein bars for once lol. Gonna try to find a day pass gym around 6-7pm and workout, shower, then pass out in the runner in the parking lot until tomorrow to finish the drive lol.

I just don’t trust it to give the same protection as a full blown sealer. But these seem to be easier to apply and reapply (although I virtually will never do that without claying).

Ya that’s what I’m reading now. I may just get a regular sealant. Not sure which. Maybe just the ceramic wax and not the spray. I dunno. I’ll have to do more research on it before I buy.

New STrong knee sleeves came in yesterday. If squatting wasn’t bad for you, I would have done 5x5 at 275 high bar today.
But, squats are bad for you so....

If I recall right he has done something similar in the past, idk if it’s intentional or not. If you know yourself well enough that would be an efficient way to do it, that way you aren’t gassed when it comes to deads. It’s harder to figure his personality and methodologies out because of the language barrier.

If you were to squat with those how do you think they feel?

I don't squat either but I bought Cerberus 9mm sleeves and those things would be amazing. If I did squats that is.

Learned more about wax today than I expected. Good to know. Pretty sure I still use wax... RIP
