Spare wheel options- for spare tire running skinnys

I've got some SCS Ray 10's in 17 x 8.5 that I'd like to get a steel wheel match the offset for my spare.

Also, can you fit a 255 80 17 in the spare tire location?

 

Yes. It requires a little finesse but it fits, lol. I need to pull the spare back and to pass side while raising it, and it falls into position without any modifications.

 

did you find a suitable spare rim? i have 17x8.5 ray 10s and am looking for the same thing you are. were u able to fit the 255 in the spare location?

 

I just use my stock spare tire rim, it fits a little tight but no issues.

 

thanks my stock spare is a 16 and i’m running ray 10 17s in a 275/70 which doesn’t really have a 16 equivalent, may just buy a 17 steelie and go that route
