    Hi all!
i just picked up some bed bars for future plans of putting an RTT up on it. i'm currently speaking with a buddy who runs a CNC factory about making some side panels for the bars. Since i don't have an RTT at the moment, i dont know how far apart to mount the bars onto my bed to mount an RTT.

my question is: is there a universal width for which all RTT's use for mounting?

if i were to mount the three bars with one closest to the cab, one furthest from the cab at the tail (whatever the rails permit), and one in the center of the two bars, would i be safe in the future to mount an RTT? i would want to make panels with how i would have these bars mounted, but if an RTT wouldn't be able to mount to it, then the side panels would be useless to me.

additional info: i own a 2019 DCLB and the bedbar setup that i have is the tacopocolypse (3) bar mid height.

    thank you in advanced!!

Probably different on others but figured I’d chime in

Plan on giving yourself a bit of clearance between the cab and the tent. You'll need to get your arm between the tent and cab to zip on/off the cover. So I wouldn't mount the front bar as far forward as possible.
