Germaines is usually the the best one to go to and they offer Waikiki shuttle. Enjoy the ride and have some mai tais

Just boarded a plane myself. If you don’t want to drive/shuttle,the Hale Koa is walking distance from anywhere in Waikiki.

Germaines or paradise cove is probably the better ones. Hale koa isn’t bad and it’s in Waikiki.

Just wanted to report back and thank Y'all for the advice. We just got back Saturday night after a great week on Oahu! And yes Mrs Gunns made me do a bunch of tourist stuff but we still had a great time. Y'all have a beautiful island once you get away from Waikiki and all the congestion! Loved the time we got to spend in the North Shore area and over at KBay. Germaine's Luau was entertaining but the food was a bit of a let down. ALL of the other eats we had all week were off the chart good. Really enjoyed the malasadas from Leonard's and the Loco Moco at Zippy's! Drank more than my share of Longboards and had some great Mai Tai's. Mrs Gunns spent as much of my money as she could at the ABC stores, the swap meet at the stadium and of course at the Dole Plantation shops. Had to buy another piece of luggage to bring it all home! Again, Mahalo!
