Looking for suggestions on a leather conditioner/protection to use on the leather bits in my Taco interior (assuming they are real leather??); M/T shift boot, hand brake boot, shift knob, etc. Thanks in advance!

It's not real leather and even in high end or your average vehicle the leather has a plastic coating on it. So putting leather conditioning products mostly wipe off onto the towel, what remains likely comes off onto your clothing.

On a higher end car with real leather under the coating may benefit from the tiny amount of conditioner that seeps through. Or using something like Leatherique that you saturate the seat with over 1-2 days.

Otherwise use whatever you'd use on the plastic and trim. Like 303, CarPro PERL etc...

I tried Meguiars Leather Balm and It did absolutely nothing. Wipe it on. And then wipe it off and it all comes off on the towel. About like putting it on a piece of glass.

I like lexol leather and vinyl products. I use lexol leather cleaner and conditioner on my truck seats and other leather areas. I also use shine supply clean and shine and carpro perl for most interior plastic , vinyl and fake leather
