I have a shudder in the front end that happens when accelerating at low speed from a stop and the front wheels are turned, more pronounced to the left and when agoing uphill. Doesnt happen really when accelerating in a straight line. This has been happening for several years now and over that time had couple different mechanics have a look but nothing found directly.

My wife uses this truck for her landscaping business and is always towing an aluminum trailer - nothing huge and heavy but standard 5x8 trailer. Truck has 200k kms on it and had last tranny & front and rear diff fluids changed at 150k kms.

    Any thoughts?

Did you determine the cause? I have the same thing on my '05 TRD Sport 4x4. It almost feels like I am in 4x4 and the wheels are binding, mostly when I'm beginning to move forward with the wheel turned.

I took it to the dealer and was told it is normal and not to worry, so I stopped worrying.

Thanks! I haven't been concerned myself enough yet to take it in, but it sure doesn't feel 'right.' I'll reply back if I ever find anything more useful that what your dealer told you.
