Hey guys Im thinking about getting one of the fumoto valves. Anyone that had the f-103s, can you tell me how long it is ( how long it hangs from the oil pan)?

If anyone has the one with the longer nipple id be curious aboit that one too...

Ive got the 103S and love it. it tucks up nice, I don't have a measurement but its just slightly longer than the drain bolt. Cost $26.88 from Amazon with prime and it comes with a cover for the lever.

If I'm remembering my install correctly it's slightly above the crossmember, shouldn't be the lowest hanging thing under there.

    None... yet
I finally installed mine. But I have the F103N, its slightly longer. It appears to be right at the same level as the cross member. This doesn't worry me because I am not doing anything crazy in my truck.

If the length is a problem for some, the F103 doesn't have a nipple at all, so its short. They also have a F103SX that uses a banjo bolt and the valve nipple comes out to the side. Too many potential leak points on that style in my opinion.

I've got one. It was on the truck when I bought it. I've had them on motorcycles and race cars, but never on my vehicles. Comes in handy. Seems a proper fit for a PreRunner. Easy access with skid plate.

I run the 103S but can't give you a measurement. It is the shortest one they make with a nipple. I wheel my truck so I was concerned about the longer 103N. I wanted the extra clearance just in case my skid gets bent and pushed up a bit. It is pretty awesome and makes it nice to change with a skid plate. Not that is was too difficult to get a socket up there, but quick flip and done it real nice. If you have a skid, it is nice to add 6" or so of line to the nipple and tuck it into the skid when not in use. Otherwise you will get hot oil down your arm when opening.

I’ve had mine for two years. No issues except I did scrape it off on a curb at the mall and my engine blew after all the oil leaked out.

Just kidding!! So far so good.
