    2020 VooDoo Blue Tacoma TRD Off-Road
    I traded my 2018 F150 in for a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in VooDoo Blue. As I plan to have this truck for a very long time and hopefully do some "Overlanding" (or more like Weekendlanding), I made sure I got exactly what I wanted from the factory: Advanced Tech Package, LED Headlights/Foglights, and the TRD Premium Off Road Package.

    I have to admit, the main sway to get a Tacoma, instead of building up my F150, is based largely by others I have watched and researched when I decided to get into more adventure type activities.

    I want to thank the following for the great information while I did my research:
    Tacomaholic
    Maxx Powell (apparently lives close to me, also does falconry) - Pretty much stopped watching this chan since he got the Raptor
    Last Line of Defense

    I am sure there are more but those really stand out in my memory, thanks to everyone!

    Thank you everyone.
    I am really enjoying the new rig so far, as for modifications.. even though everyone that inspired me to get a Tacoma is heavy into off-roading I plan to keep the stock height. I did a bit of researched and found that all the Toyota safety systems and dynamic cruise control (things I liked about the 2020) will not work correctly, if at all, once you start to lift the truck. Weirdly, even though a lot of people get Tacoma's to lift, Toyota has come out and stated it no longer recommends lifting them due to this.

    I love my tech more then I love a lifted truck.. I am a big techie and why I waited till Toyota actually put some tech into the Tacoma prior to getting one... well that and the 10 way powered drivers seat!
