3.4L V6 Supercharged Knock sensor issue help :)

Hey Guys,
So my setup is: 3.4L supercharged with URD 7th injector, and out of no where it started throwing the P0330 code, I believe its circuit 2, bank 2. I don't get the other code just the P0330. I don't drive it often, but I take long trips to Idaho every year and never have any issues.

I took resistance measurements and with the car running I get about 2.45 K ohms with both sensors. I clear the code and it just comes back, my engine was swapped with a import engine from japan 2 years ago with 55K miles, and I put on about 10k miles. the only thing I can think of is maybe bad gas?

sometimes I would get pinging/rumble at low RPM while trying to speed up in a lower gear but my aem methanol kit kinda helped. right now I have the sensor wires spliced together to try and use up all the gas currently in the tank .any info would be great.

 

That's gonna happen with forced induction. I have mine jumpered together currently. I am also using the "upgraded" GM knock sensors, but I popped on of those pretty quickly, same bank as you, but the other one is hanging in there. I just leave them jumpered.

 

Vic, so is it common to have issues with the knock sensors of forced induction engines?. So you upgraded the knock sensors to GM and they went out again?. How long have u had them tied together. Also what's the benefit of the GM sensors thx
