It might be easier to purchase rebuilt Denso injectors online from a company that does such a thing and warranties the injectors. Furthermore I sent them my original injectors and got a rebate. If I'm not mistaken I found them on eBay and it was a company out of Hollywood CA.

For 100.00 and your own piece of mind...do it.

I’ve spent more at the bar on a evening of mild drinking.

Your injectors will probably test just fine. We had a member on Tundras with 240k and tested his.
They said good to go and send it.

If I’m being honest with you, I wouldn’t do this service. I run good fuel, use Lucas on almost every fuel up, and would invest that money towards new injectors when needed.

On a different car forum, one of the moderators and a couple of members bought some injectors from a seller in CA that were advertised as remanufactured originals. Amazingly, this seller had an endless supply of rebuilt injectors. It took a while but they eventually determined the injectors being sold as remanufactured were actually new from China.

If I went that route to get new screens, o-rings, and pintle caps (as applicable), I would prefer to send my own healthy injectors to a "service company" that advertises as such.

This company in Houston TX does a good job of explaining injector servicing.

Here's a post on how to spot counterfeit injectors.

You need to able to see the side of the injector with the part number and look for the testing control lot number.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...cleaned-what-do-they-do.630582/#post-21617992

I am not saying all pink injectors for sale on eBay are counterfeit. But I was able to spot these counterfeits. Note the information in the above link about how to identify counterfeit injectors.

    Let's be careful out there.

I found this injector under that seller for the 3.4L Now let's compare it to a counterfeit from China that I just happened to have on hand. BRB

This is too funny.. Real OEMs are made in Japan -- not the USA. Here's a picture of a made in China counterfeit injector. Notice the orange o-ring is placed on the bottom like the one in the picture. Also, notice the mold markings (circles) are identical.

Just to point out the injectors pictures on Motorwest site have the actual marking from an OEM injector. I agree the injector in the picture looks like a reconditioned (e.g. new o-rings, screens, pintle cap, cleaned and tested) OEM injector.

The yellow arrow in the picture points to the original testing lot number from Aisan.
