Question about tire pressure on my BFG AT's

    thats the max rating that the tire can handle, not the recommended. 65 and they will be overinflated causing uneven wear and will feel like youre riding on rocks. 35 is a good number, a lot of people ride with 34 psi and it varies from front to back if you want more or less

    Yeah, the tire mfr will tell you to set your pressure based on the truck owner's manual. But that 80lbs pressure is for an E tire carrying max weight which is e.g. 3200lbs PER TIRE.

    The more weight you carry, the higher pressure you need to run. When was the last time you loaded your taco down to 12,800lbs (no trailer) sitting on 4 tires? :eek:
