I have a lot of mess ups;) I'll still mess up a blank every now and again. acrylic is my nemesis...its very temperamental. Ive blown up countless acrylics blanks for pens. Usually have to get 2 or 3 blanks just to get one sometimes...LOL

Makes sense. If it was an old sex bunker door, you would certainly be able to tell from the sweet aroma of fear and lust.

More of a purple than blue. Maybe Navy Blue with a slight reddish hue?

Yeah, they are pulling your leg. It's any where from half to 2/3rds as hard as oak depending on the species.

Definitely not as hard as oak but for a soft wood it’s one of the stronger species depends if the tree was fast growing or not, meaning the tighter the end grain the stronger it is.

Poly coat 1. I used the pre-stain conditioner and I am very happy with the results. For the money, I’ll continue to use it on pine projects.
