Morning OP and welcome! I had the UWS TBC-42-W-BLK on my 2013 DCSB. Fit perfectly between the wheel wells and was just a tad taller than the sides of the bed. You can also look for a smaller crossover toolbox that fits where mine does but extends over the wheel wells. or you could do a crossover that sits on top of the bed rails. What style are you looking for?

To mount mine I drilled two holes that lined up with the front two bed bolts and installed the bed bolts through the toolbox, worked perfectly.

What did you torque the bed bolts to and did you use any kind of lock-tite/etc?

PS - I grew up in the St Andrews suburbs NW of Columbia.

    Morning Rick,

I didn't use lock-tite or torque the bolts to a certain amount, I just used a little anti-seize and cranked down on them pretty good. I did make it a point to check them every few months as the bed mounts under the bed can wear out and cause issues down the road if they aren't tight. When I sold the truck I pulled the toolbox out, even with anti-seize they required a breaker bar to remove.

I have a UWS box, I wanted it a little short and not reaching all the way to the sides of the bed. DeeZee anchors are good and easy, I dipped mine.

Betterbuilt makes a good one. I like the matte black finish in low profile. Close to $400.
