I wanted to check lug fitment. Been reading about short studs on Tacomas. The spline lugs I bought seem to get enough bite. I counted 6.5 turns, hand tightened. So perhaps another turn with lug wrench.

    From Venomrex today:

    Thanks for the email.

Important note, all Venom Rex wheels are tailored specifically for each vehicle application to provide a direct fitment flush with the fenders, no spacers or modifications required.

The 17x9 ET-12 fitment has been tested, confirmed, and successful setup on hundreds of Tacoma’s without any issue.

The Venom Rex 12x1.5 spline lug nut set for Toyota applications receive 5.5 turns when installed properly and is approved within OEM Toyota specs.

Running VR wheels with the Venom Rex spline lug nut kit on all Toyota applications has been thoroughly tested on and off road.

Unfortunately, we do not offer an extended lug nut set like you linked below. You are welcome to purchase a set online or locate another tire shop locally.

We do apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your continued support. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Nice looking wheel.

I've seen very few I'd say that about.

Yeah they have about 1 inch or so of poke. I think the Yoko Geolandars G015 will look great. Also installing a 2/1 lift.
