i'm about to drive 7 hours to go pickup a canopy and just want to make sure it fits real quick.

    i have an 08 dblcab short bed, it's advertised as coming of a 2012 with a 6ft bed..also a dbl cab.
the sticker inside the canopy lists it as a shortbed....i thought the short bed was 5ft/60inches...what's going on here?

you think it's worth the risk to drive all the way there and hope the sticker is accurate and the seller is just confused? or is that even the case and i am wrong about the bed length of my truck? is there an extra short bed as referenced here?

Drive 7 hours one way without knowing if it'll fit? Call and get measurements first. Compare to the measurements of your bed. Don't waste your time or gas.

cute waste of space....did you catch the part about the sticker/product ID on the canopy stating it's for a dbl cab short bed?
i know it's hard to read but i included a picture of the sticker....

i would just ask the lady to measure the thing but again, there's a discrepancy between the product ID and what she is claiming to have in the ad...i'm thinking she's confusing 60 inches with 6 foot.....think about if if you're looking at a tape measure but don't really know what your lokoing at, but i am not sure...does anyone know if AREs nomenclature would refer to the tacoma longbed as a shortbed for some reason?

ok, now that the ARE dealers opened up i got a chance to talk to them, just for a FYI, ARE calls the short bed tacoma's extra-shortbeds...you know because that's not confusing or anything. lol

thanks to those who looked at this thread, good to know that lady actually could use a tape measure and it's just retarded nomenclature on AREs part. lol
