    2003 Two Door 4wd Tacoma 4 cylinder
    Hi All,

    I am new to Tacoma World but have owned 2 Tacomas over the past 20 years.
    My most recent is a 2003 Tacoma 2 door 4 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission with 4wd.
    Like most Tacomas mine has severe rust issues in the frame. The truck is in need of the bed frame being replaced.
    I called Toyota directly and they told me any Recall claims on this vehicle have expired based on the model year.
    Mechanics have told me that this is not at all accurate, and that if I am more persistent the Recall and frame replacement will be honored.
    I am looking for guidance and clarification on this issue.
    If anyone can offer the best way to navigate the process I would be grateful.
    I love this truck and hate to part with it based upon inaccurate or deceptive information.

    To the best of my knowledge, the frame replacement is no longer valid for your Taco. Hopefully somebody can correct me on that.
