replacing voice coils in subs?

    i have two 10" jl w1v2-8 subs that i bought for 10 bucks, one works but the others voice coils are blown. any info on how to replace the coils?

    I've been in the 12 volt business for a while and I have never heard of anyone replacing the voice coil on a blown sub. If it's possible, I don't think it would be cost efficient compared to just buying a new one. Let me know if you find someone to do it and how much it costs if you do, I would be interested.

    I'm sure you could, but it probably won't be worth it since these subs can be bought for fairly cheap.
