I did the cupholder mod by adding 2 individual lamps to the shifter light circuit wired, in parallel. I'd like to add 2 more just over the HVAC controls, pointing down. My concern is adding 4 LED lamps to the circuit without overloading. I don't think it will be a problem, but I'm not positive.

Have you done this or know of the electrical considerations?

What’s the wattage on the LED’s you’ve added/want to add?

I'm not sure. i don't have them with me and I can't find the link that I followed.
They are individual LED's, in 5 different colors, 12 of each color that I bought online. As I said, I have 2 connected to the shifter lights, wired in parallel. If possible, I'd like to add 2 more to the same circuit.
Worst comes to worst, I'll connect 2 to the HVAC controls light circuit.

    Thanks for the assist.

What he said is correct, pretty much all of the interior illumination is all on the same circuit with some rare exceptions. Everything will probably be fine, but without knowing the current draw of the LED's, you couldn't say more than that.

But yes, you can probably just do it. Tapping in somewhere else will still pull the same current through the fuse, but may help with wire size limitations.

But seriously, you're probably fine unless they're crazy bright LED's.

This kit has 2 LED light bars and 2 LED for the cup holders and has no added fuse, it wires into the same location you were thinking. (A/C lamps)
