So the seatbelt and airbag lights are on and appeared after hitting the trails pretty hard. Edit: does anyone know how I would go about resolving this problem?

I’ve already checked all connections under the seat on the driver and passenger side.

Try disconnecting the battery and seeing if it resets

Have you ever changed the battery? When the battery was going out on my girlfriends TC, the airbag light came on. Replaced the battery and the light stayed, so took it to a shop and they said when the reserve power for the airbag gets too low the light will stay on and need to be reset. Never heard of that before but he said it was common with batteries going bad.

Go to a local autozone and use their scan tool for free it should point you in the right direction to make a correct diagnosis of the problem.

FIXED... took it to the dealership. They just calibrated the sensors and it’s fine now. They told me they would replace sensors if it reappeared but that it should not. (All free of charge)

Awesome, thanks for letting us know. Is your rig lifted and aftermarket grill? What sensors did they calibrate? I assume they didn't do the recall?

I have an OME heavy 2 inch lift with 33 coopers wrapped around scs 17 inch wheels. They just calibrated the airbag sensors and it hasn’t come back since. No recall work done. No aftermarket grill yet, just the plastidipped cheese grater.
